Dear Bob,
I can't even count all the times I've brought my car to your shop, totally unsure of what was wrong, only to find out that you figured out what was up and are going to charge me way less for it than I thought.
My most recent case in point: my passenger side power window is stuck half-open. The dealer says it is not under warantee and quotes my $200 to fix it.
Brought it to Bob's and turned out it was a loose wire and was fixed for under $30. Great, honest, friendly, always trying to save you a buck. Highest recommendation for service and quality.

I always go to Bob's for everything I need done. There have been times where I forget about them and I go somewhere else and the quotes are outrageous. I know that when I go to Bob's they are going to fix ONLY what needs to be fixed and at a good price. The place is not sparkling clean but it is a MECHANIC for goodness sake. Cars are dirty. I have talked to every one of the mechanics in there and they are all good people and are very helpful, especially Bob. I cannot tell you how many times he has helped me out with my numerous problems with my crappy car. I have had body work done, my alternator replaced, my brakes done, my battery terminals replaced multiple times, and I am about to have my CV axles done and eventually my door window fixed which Bob has graciously tried to rig for me multiple times. These people are REAL people and they are not only in it for the money. I would recommend Bob's to everyone and I do all the time. Students also get 10% off 🙂

We checked 5 different repair locations in our general area and Bob's was the cheapest on the radiator labor costs (and they even let me bring my own radiator!) by about 25 bucks. So on top of this, my girlfriend is complaining about missing class for a test, and the owner actually drove her to class while I waited on our vehicle. On top of that, they did a free diagnosis. The price I was quoted was what I was charged. I waited like an hour and twenty minutes, topz. You can score coupons for this place in the ADmax which is what im doing after such a good day with them, ill be back for my regular maintenence. I actually feel like I can trust them and it isnt gonna cost me, this is how ALL repair shops should run things.

I have consistently had good experiences each time I have brought a car to Bob's. On the first occasion, I left my 1994 Mazda RX-7 after-hours, which they thoughtfully coordinated with me before the drop-off, in order to diagnose what I thought was a clutch in-need of replacement.
It turns out the car had just been sitting too long without being driven and the clutch was stuck the the flywheel. They popped it out and returned my my fully functioning car free of charge.
On the second occasion, I used their collision services for my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500. It was clear the front bumper would need to be fully replaced and possibly the reinforcement beneath it.
They did a quality job locating the parts, color-matching the paint, and getting the job done within cost and time estimates.
I am INCREDIBLY skeptical of auto mechanics, and working on my cars myself, I can usually spot a seedy repair shop, but I have nothing but positive things to say about Bob's and feel they're running an honest and dependable business.

I am from out-of-town and needed a quick check of a problem right before Bob's close of business. They told me to bring it on in. A mechanic came out to the parking lot and did a few checks on it and told me it was safe to drive for the night. When I returned the next day with another time constraint, they fixed the problem right away for me and were very friendly and very reasonable in their price. This appears to be a family business and they went above and beyond to help out an out-of-towner in a bind. I am glad to now have a trusted auto repair place whenever I am in Tallahassee.
